About Pind Daan
The practice of presenting food, water, and prayers to one’s ancestors or recently deceased loved ones is known as Pind Daan. A lump of rice and barley flour is known as a “pind”, which during the pind daan karma, is offered to the deceased.
Importance of Pind Daan
Pind Daan is considered a pivotal ceremony. This practice demonstrates genuine regard for one’s ancestors as well as recognition of their ongoing presence in the lives of the living.
